You see, People are not only quicker to make a way for such a person, they are also quicker to follow them and they are quicker to forgive them when they fail. It is those who are timid and who have to test which way the wind is blowing before they make a move who people have little tolerance or admiration for.
So what is the most important question that you can ask in relation to your personal leadership development? It is: “Where are my current choices leading me?” A great leader is not the person who never fails or falls or says the wrong thing. Instead, it is the person who knows where they are going and who judges each of their actions accordingly. All great leadership development comes out of this, for it is this process which cultivates the greatest characteristic of a leader: constant persistence towards achieving their objective. A great leader may fall, but it is easier for them to get back up and get moving again because they know where they are going.
