
Android phone has become the top selling Smartphone in America as of March 2011. One of Android phone is the Droid by Verizon. The users of this Smartphone are able to download applications to their gadget through a Market tool. Downloading applications not only deals with the downloading speed, but also the storage capacity of the Smartphone. When the internals storage is full, then the application will be saved on microSD memory card which the capacity is different on every Smartphone and users.
Frozen Yogurt or Froyo is the latest Android OS for Droid as of March 2011. If you want to upgrade your Droid software, you can press the “home” button followed by pressing the “Menu” button. When the “Settings” option appears on the touch screen, tap it, and scroll down to tap the “About Phone” and “System Updates” consecutively. Finally, you can press the “Update Android” to let your Motorola Droid searching for the latest software update and begins to download.
After the download is finished, if you want to move the application to your SD card, you can press the “Home” button, followed by pressing the “Menu” button. Then, press the “Settings”, Applications”, and “Manage Applications” consecutively, and then select the application that you want to move to SD card, and tap its name on the list. Press the “Move to SD” button, and wait the operation to finish. However, some applications may not be run form the SD card, thus, the “Move to SD” button isn’t available to press, when you try to undergo the transfer process.
