Former Disney star Raven Symone has gone from plump to bonny. The 25-year old star of “That’s so raven” has been making news lately for her dramatic weight loss. The crowd was hushed when she appeared for her interview on her up-coming series “State of New Georgia. “The actress displayed her fabulous weight loss in a leopard-print dress which highlighted her new tiny frame. Raven became popular as a child model before joining the acting industry where she starred in shows, including “The Cosby Show” and films such as “Dr.Doolittle.” She was always proud of her plus-size role model and always showed confidence about her plumpness. She once called herself “thick and fabulous” and insisted that she has a curvy body. However, Raven Symone

was almost unrecognizable as she pounded the catwalk for a charity event.
It is unclear that how much exactly has the actress lost weight, but it is predicted to be around 35 lbs.

What is the secret behind her weight loss? Well, that still is a secret but the actress claims it was simple stress reduction. This might as well be true as stress causes us to crave sugar, salt and fat. “I stopped stressing. You have to realize at 15, there was a whole entire show I had on my shoulders. It was a very big cast and crew, and if you’re sick for a day, people lose money and that’s a problem,” she said at the time. “[It wasn't] just over eating because I’ve actually been eating the same. I keep little smaller portions because I learned that your body has to get rid of that stress some way. Some people break-out, some people lose their hair. Some lose weight. Some people gain weight. My body just reacted with a certain kind of way.”
Symone also admitted that the amount of praise her new slender look attracts is quite funny.  “I find it funny That people now come up to me and say, ‘Wow. You are absolutely gorgeous. I’m like, ‘I was beautiful before I lost weight. Egotistically speaking, I thought I was amazing.’”

The star gave out a very important message in 2008 about weight loss mania. She says, ‘My conflict in life is just making sure that I remember that I’m beautiful just the way I am, no matter what size, I am. ”It doesn’t matter what size you are. Everybody is fabulous in their own way!
